Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Office assists UWM faculty, staff, and students with locating and obtaining research materials not owned by the UWM Libraries.

The Interlibrary Loan Office uses an online system, called ILLiad. You can login to ILLiad to make requests, ask for renewals, and track the status of your requests. You can reach ILLiad, via the Library Catalog, PantherCat. Once you are in Panthercat, you can click on the ILLiad button at the top of the screen. You can also reach it by clicking on the "Request Materials Through Interlibrary Loan" link below.

Articles are usually delivered electronically. Books and other materials not delivered electronically should be picked up and returned at the Main Circulation Desk.

ILL office hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday. To speak with interlibrary loan staff, inquire at the Circulation Desk. Check the Libraries Hours for exceptions.
