MTL at February Summit

Content: This MTL is showing us how he found the area of a triangle without using a formula! He's also illustrating how area is "additive". What is this all leading up to?
Finding areas helped us discover an important theorem in mathematics. Working with areas and relationships and applying some reasoning can help our students learn the Pythagorean Theorem WITH understanding.
Formative Assessment Practice: Giving effective descriptive feedback. Here an MTL is giving feedback on the original feedback to a student's response.
