1980 - Extensive arbitration, mediation and expert witness experience in construction-related disputes.

 

Research Interests
The impact of law upon architecture. He is specifically interested in the way legal provisions and restrictions affect the physical outcome of the design process, how law shapes the physical environment and the impact of law upon the professional practice of architecture. In addition to field research, Dr. Greenstreet is active as an arbitrator, mediator and expert witness in construction-related cases. He has published extensively in books, journals and conference proceedings across the world.

Research on legal aspects of architecture presented to audiences of academics or professionals throughout the United States. Presentations of work also in the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Denmark, Canada, Portugal, France, and Hong Kong. Work published in Architectural Research Quarterly, The National Law Journal, The Architect's Journal, The RIBA Journal, Architectural Record, Journal of Architectural Research, Progressive Architecture, Architecture, Urbanism, Portico, Open House International, and Representation.
