Training - Tricks, Icebreakers, Energizers, & Experiences

Add some zing, vitality and energy to your training sessions and/or informational meetings by incorporating tricks, icebreakers, energizers and experiences.

Research related to how adults learn clearly indicates vastly improved training content retention and/or meeting participation when attendees are engaged and focused. In this class youll be provided with lots of existing engagement tools to take home, along with a process to design your own customized tools for your specific application. This class is guaranteed to improve your training ROI.

  Upon completion the learner will:
  • Correlate learning retention for the adult learner with participant engagement.
  • Gain exposure to multiple examples of icebreakers, energizers and experiences.
  • Expand on current knowledge of training aid sources and their applications.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate learning experiences in training design along with effective debrief.
  • Be able to identify the elements of effective icebreakers, energizers and experiences.
  • Practice the use of a design model for icebreakers and energizers.

This elective can be applied to the Master Certificate in Training.
