Discover the basic concepts and language of the nonprofit sector. Discuss characteristics that define a nonprofit organization. Learn commonly used terminology and ideas. NOTE: Free workshops do not count toward Governmental Affairs certificates.


Discover the basic concepts and language of the nonprofit sector. Discuss questions such as:

-What characteristics define a nonprofit organization?

-How does the nonprofit sector differ from the business and government sectors?

-What are the goals of nonprofits?

By answering these questions you are introduced to commonly used nonprofit terminology and ideas.
