  Wisconsin Projects
The Wisconsin Employment Transportation Assistance Program is an employment and transportation endeavor to help Welfare-to-Work recipients successfully move from welfare to the workplace. WETAP was developed and funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The Center for Transportation Education (CTED) has received WETAP grants since 1999.

The Milwaukee Workers Web Site (MWWS) helps lower income and at-risk workers obtain information on employment, transportation, childcare, healthcare and the Earned Income Tax Credit.

The MWWS was a collaboration between the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, CTED and New Hope Project.

The Waukesha Metro Transit Internet Trip Planner is a transit trip planning tool that utilizes Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. It tells users what bus to catch, where they should board and when to alight. Moreover, the planner's GIS component provides users with an itinerary and map. This project was unveiled in December 2001.

Partners for this project included Waukesha Metro Transit, the City of Waukesha, UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning and CTED.
