As you browse through our program offerings, you will notice the "Register Now" button at the end of each course description. (If you do not see the "Register Now" button, it either means there is no current session for that course or that the current session is full. Look for directions on who to contact for information on future sessions, or for how to be added to a waiting list.)

Clicking the "Register Now" button takes you to the Registration Form.

Most classes require full payment at the time of registration. You can choose from a variety of payment methods. Payment can be made with a Check, Company Purchase Order (P.O.), Money Order or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). Checks should be made payable to "University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee." Cash is accepted through in-person registration only.

Program Cancellations/Refunds
A full refund is issued to program participants if the School of Continuing Education cancels a program for any reason. Participant withdrawals made at least two weeks (14 days) prior to the start of a program can receive a 100% refund. When a participant withdraws less than two weeks prior to the program start, participants may have their fees transferred one time to any currently available program, otherwise participants will receive a refund minus a 20% administrative fee. For programs with a fee of $35 or less, no refund will be given. Once a program has begun, refunds are no longer issued.

*This policy does not apply to Travel programs or to College for Kids/Teens which have a no refund policy.

Registration Confirmation
Online: When you submit your online registration form, it is sent directly to our Customer Service staff. A Customer Service representative will process your registration the same or next business day. If you provide your email address, we will notify you of your registration status via email. You will also be mailed a printed confirmation from us within five business days. If for any reason we cannot process your registration, we will contact you using the information you furnished on the registration form.

Phone: You will be mailed a printed confirmation from us within five business days.

Mail/Fax: Once your registration is processed, you will be mailed a printed confirmation from us within five business days. If for any reason we cannot process your registration, we will contact you using the information you furnished on the registration form.

In Person: At your request, you will be provided immediately with a printed confirmation.

  4. Post chain letters or pyramid schemes.
  5. Impersonate another person.
  6. Allow any other person or entity to use your identification for posting or viewing comments.
  7. Post the same note more than once or "spam."

UWM School of Continuing Education reserves the right (but is not obligated) to do any or all of the following:

  1. Remove communications that are abusive, illegal or disruptive, or that otherwise fail to conform to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Terminate a user's access to the blog feature upon any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Edit or delete any communications posted on the blog feature, regardless of whether such communications violate these standards.
  4. Finally, you agree that you will indemnify UWM SCE against any damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of a claim by a third party relating to any material you have posted.
