Gevon graduated from UWM with a Bachelor of Science through the School of Education, and she holds a certificate in Youth Work Professional Development. As a Program Manager for UWM's Youth Work Learning Center, Gevon is familiar with all aspects of the programming and plays an essential role in the planning and implementation of YWLC courses. She has been involved from the onset in crafting the innovative Youth Work Professional Development Program and through her experience working with homeless and runaway teens, after school and community based programs she continues to play an active role in community outreach, collaborations, and work involving community and youth development. |
