IMPROVING CAMPUS ECOLOGY
Ecotone: a transition
area between two adjacent ecological communities.
As an
organization, Ecotone plays an intermediary role between the
campus and the larger community. We are aware of the
significant impact the university has beyond its own
boundaries. By improving the ecological health of our own
campus, we can improve the ecological health of the larger
community. In turn, members of this community work with us
to realize this goal.

progressing on the installation of a Green Roof at the west
Union Entry (just across the Maryland Street bridge) at UWM.
