NCA Accreditation Mission and Integrity Team Meeting Minutes
Thursday, September 19, 2003, 3:45 p.m.

Present: Ferne Bronson, Gabrielle Verdier, Michael Liston, Joanne Barndt,
Janet Padway, John Buntin, Elizabeth Bolt, Janet Lilly, Dennis Bennett,
Kristie Hamilton, Deborah Padgett, Margo Anderson, Kathryn Dindia

Excused: William Gregory, Dave Haseman, Philip Smith, Mary Roggeman,
Randy Ryder, Robert Yeo

We engaged in a general discussion of our task.

We decided that the mission statements of schools and colleges would be
sufficient. However, later in the meeting, after deciding to divide into
subgroups, we decided that we would let subgroups decide what level of
mission statements they needed to analyze in order to answer their
questions.

We divided into five, four-person subgroups based on the five
sub-components of Core Component 1. The groups are as follows:

1b Ferne Bronson, Ellie Miller

1d Janet Padway
Joanne Barndt
Michael Liston

1e Deb Padgett
Dennis Gennett
John Buntin
Elizabeth Bolt

Team members not in attendance will be added to the above subgroups.
Margo will send out list of subgroup members once all members of team are
assigned subgroups.

We decided that the first task of subgroups would be to make a list of
what materials they need posted on website. Subgroups should notify Margo
of materials they want posted on website. Margo will contact Rita's
office.

We decided that at the October 6 meeting we would work as sub-groups.
