Attendees: Tony Ciccone, Rita Cheng, Margo Anderson, Mark Harris, Audrey Begun

Absent: Laura Pedrick, David Petering, Bill Kritek, Claudia Barreto

Team Chair Update Report

Over 200 requests went out to date; program directors, centers/institutes, deans/chairs.
Also, approximately 20 letters went out for data requests.

Update on data collection

Previous technology issues/problems have been resolved.
Some surveys are completed.

NCA Annual Meeting

Rita presented the opportunity to attend the 109th annual meeting in Chicago to everyone.

Assessment

March 12, 2004 is a day dedicated to Program Assessment Friday. The goal is to invite 2 people from each department. Barbara Walvoord and Elaine Klein, Dean of Letters and Science in Madison, is chair of self-study team going to Notre Dame, to work with information before and after conference.

Elaine will work with assessments. Barbara will spend time with Associate Deans. Barbara will also meet with Steering Committee and Tony Ciccone’s team.

Need to determine how to schedule out the day and make good use of the external help.
