Update
on data collection
Meeting
opened with Rita giving an update on the data collection,
preparation on data distribution, and the number of letters
that went to Administrative Leadership. The majority of
data are in for Administrative Leadership and Center.
Laura
discussed how to access the accreditation data, how to
do Report Submissions, and enter passwords. It was noted
that some of the data is html and some PDF files. It is
also suggested to put data in word version.
It
is suggested to organize with table of contents, and use
better label.
Reporting
mechanism will be ready some time next week.
Questions:
How good is the data we have?
Schools, etc. can go back in and change or clean up at
any time.
Data
Verification
How
do we know the accuracy of data information? We should
define the terms. There are data problems in the university,
and working on correcting this problem.
Deans
are being asked to review their reports.
Questions:
How do we define acceptable errors of data?
We don’t have feedback groups. We need to pick data
needed for report. We need to get good summary data on
students.
Calendar
Rita
commented on the new time of the meetings. It is agreed
that the new time is fine.
Rita
needs availability of everyone to schedule individual
team member meetings.
Timelines
Think
about timeline for the report draft. The draft is due
June 1st. After reports are done, Rita will write external
report for NCA. Team reports are intended for internal
audiences. The campus as a whole will see the report by
next fall.

1.
A reminder of the March 12 assessment workshop.
2. Also, the NCA meeting in Chicago. Please let Rita know
