Kate Coffaro and Kathryn Silvestre – Honors College
- New Lecturer was hired, allowing for additional seminars. Since these spots are open, Honors is looking to recruit additional students.
- Students could be admitted for the Spring semester on a conditional basis. If a students says their semester is going well and they are currently enrolled in English 102 (or they have tested out), send them to meet with Kate or Kathryn in Garland 302. After the Fall semester, the student must earn a 3.5 GPA and a “B-“ or better in English 102
- Ideally, prospective Honors students will have less than 40 credits completed as they will need 21 credits in Honors and that typically takes 5-7 semesters.
- The Honors College also acquired a new seminar room on the third floor of Garland (where Cultures and Communities used to be).
