AGENDA

Our action teams are VERY active, and we'll get updates and provide advice regarding:

1. Textbook Rental Team (you received the action team report last week - if you have questions/suggestions, please come with them) The B&G/SA Forum on Textbook Rentals is Wednesday, March 10 at 1:00PM

2. PantherProf Team will offer their finel (we hope) action team report based on feedback from the Forum held two weeks ago and email suggestions.

3. The Advising Action team will report on its many activities. Sue Gruzis will join us to get our input on an advising brochure being developed for use at STAR sessions. The drafts are attached; please review prior to the meeting.

4. The Student Success Center/Portal group is also gearing up for a forum later this spring.

Student Surveys. We'll provide an update on the status of the NSSE, FSSE and graduating senior survey. We are in the process of reviewing results from the fall, 2003 survey of new freshmen (CIRP). Some observations from Patty Cobb and Jan Ford, the results, and a listing of UWM specific questions, are all attached. We would appreciate your review of these materials prior to our meeting so that we can discuss overall observations.

Updates on communications from the Black and Gold Committee to faculty, staff and students.

Upcoming teleconferences and the Black and Gold Committee's role.

Proposals for funding for Black and Gold/retention initiatives.

And, if we have time, we'd love to hear at update from the College of Nursing's Black and Gold Committee.
