Educational Technology Fee Call for Proposals (2009-10)

April 6, 2009

MEMORANDUM

TO:    Academic Deans Council
  Division Heads
  Student Association President

FROM: Rita Cheng, Provost and Vice Chancellor

RE: Educational Technology Projects for 2009-10

DUE DATE: APRIL 20, 2009

The Advisory Committee on Educational Technology invites proposals from the campus for one-time funds in 2009-10 supporting projects in line with the intent of the Educational Technology fees as described in the Committee’s policies and procedures posted at: http://www4.uwm.edu/acad_aff/policy/edtechadminpolicy.cfm

The committee anticipates that substantial funds will continue to support campus-wide technologies such as campus computer laboratories, wireless technologies and collaborative software. In keeping with UWM’s Access to Success, the committee also welcomes proposals for information technology projects that support student access, success and learning. Units are encouraged to provide matching funds and, if applicable, indicate how the unit plans to support the project in the future.

Project proposals should be submitted electronically on the attached Educational Technology Fund Form A to Associate Vice Chancellor Ruth Williams at rew@uwm.edu no later than April 20, 2009.
