As Associate Vice Chancellor, Ruth Williams has primary responsibilities for:

• Access to Success, UWM's blueprint for enhancing student access and success
• Enrollment management
• Budget planning
• Space management
• UWM Black and Gold initiatives
• Coordinating with the Division of Student Affairs on Undergraduate Initiatives including admissions, retention, etc
• Articulation agreements and transfer policies
• University assessments of strategic goals
• Undergraduate student surveys and satisfaction assessments

Dr. Williams earned her baccalaureate degree in science education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a masters degree and a PhD in biology from the University of Colorado.
