Tutoring and Mentoring Resources

You don't have to be alone in your studies. UWM has ample tutoring and mentoring opportunities to help you navigate the rocky patches.

Writing Center
Meet one-on-one with a highly qualified and well-trained tutor to discuss any kind of writing project at any stage of the project. All majors, subjects, and skill levels are welcome.

TARC: Tutoring and Academic Resource Center
This center is staffed by top students who can help you understand course content and guide you in college study strategies. The center offers both regularly scheduled meetings with a tutor, or walk-in assistance for occasional questions.

Peer Outreach & Mentoring Center
Created by students for students, LINKS can assist you in areas of personal growth, social experience and college life. You'll find Enthusiastic, dedicated peer mentors who will be a sounding board for your questions (you know, the ones you can't ask in class) and a "shoulder to lean on" during midterms and finals.
