Talk with your Campus Ambassador/ Mentor
Everyone needs a guide, especially when entering unfamiliar territory. UWM provides each new freshman with a Campus Ambassador/Mentor as a first contact when you arrive on campus. The CA/M will guide you through new freshman orientations, introduce you to campus resources, and help with the registration process.
They will also be there during the semester to provide guidance and assistance. Be sure to maintain contact with your CA/M during the academic year as a way of enhancing your social academic first-year experience. CA/Ms are also a connection to other faculty/staff mentors, LINKS mentors, and professional/major field mentors.
