Champion UWM's future (or vision) through stewardship of the master plan

 

·   Create an integrated planning and decision-making process

·   Create an awareness of the master planning vision and strategies through education and promotion.

Build an exceptional and diverse team

 

        

·   Optimizing and diversifying the hiring pools

·   Develop a shared understanding of “exceptional” and “diverse”

·   Establish a culture of continual staff development

Communicate in proactive and innovative ways to respond to customer needs

 

· Obtain a greater understanding of our customers’ needs

Maximize financial resources to advance UWM's strategic priorities

 

 

·   With stakeholder input, create awareness and education regarding fiscal responsibility across campus.

·   Develop an understanding of the need for shadow systems currently in use at UWM

·   Avoid unnecessary expenses such as waste, fraud and abuse as well as non-compliance with UWM, UW System, state and federal policies, procedures and rules

Lead efforts to Re-engineer business processes and standardize best practices

 

· Identify and evaluate critical processes and process foundations in each FAA Dept

· Evaluate critical processes

· Define re-engineered processes

· Implement new business practices and processes
