Show your support for UWM - Attend Legislative Day - March 7, 2012
A large contingent of UWM alumni, students and other friends of the university will head to Madison for Legislative Day on Wednesday, March 7, to lobby for UWM, and you are strongly encouraged to join us.
The annual event, formerly called Spirit Day, is organized by the Panther Advocates. It includes meeting with UWM and other UW System students to view their research posters in the Capitol Rotunda, followed by visits with state legislators and their staff members to promote UWM's agenda.
We will have a motor coach leaving at 9 a.m. in front of the UWM Student Union (please note the new location) and returning by late afternoon. There will be a stop at the park and ride at Goerke's Corners in Brookfield to pick up attendees living in that area. There is no cost for the trip nor for the lunch we'll enjoy in the Capitol.
