Emeritus Trustees

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni Association Emeritus Trustees

The Emeritus Trustees are a special group of alumni who previously served on the UWM Alumni Association’s (UWMAA) Board of Trustees and want to continue their connection with the Association and the university.

Their purpose is to enhance the mission and goals of the UWMAA, and serve as special representatives of the Association. The largest initiative of the Emeritus Trustees is the creation of the Panther Advocates, in 2004. This is a grassroots advocacy coalition of UWM alumni who are concerned with the future of higher education at the university. We are committed to educating elected officials and our community about the importance of UWM to the state of Wisconsin.
