Brett M. Leonhardt
Brett is recognized as a versatile leader within the building industry. He is currently taking park in a scholarship-internship with The Rockefeller Group awarded to two students annually by New York University where he is a Master’s candidate for a degree in Real Estate Development Finance & Investment. Additionally, Brett is Co-Chair of the Green Buildings + Campus Planning Committee at NYU.
Before taking his current position with Rockefeller, Brett worked at HOK on projects that range from towers of over 500 meters to complex state-of-the-art hospitals and has been involved in the design of two Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certified projects, and several silver and gold. Before he joined HOK, Brett was part of the team at Flad Architects in Madison and San Francisco, where he played a key role in contributing towards design for several projects in science, technology, academia and healthcare. Brett is a founding member of IMPACT, an organization at HOK that aims to connect all the HOK offices in activities that support community, sustainability and volunteerism, and is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
