Professionally, Geoff has been involved at the highest level in an impressive array of pursuits in both the public and private sector for over 33 years.  His unique blend of skills gained from an education in urban planning, architecture, and professional training in mediation and project management have enabled Geoff to become a vital player in project planning and completion.  He has served in leadership positions with the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, MECCA (the Milwaukee Exposition Convention   Center and Arena), Wisconsin Center District, the Milwaukee Parks Department, Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and most recently at Irgens Development Partners, LLC.  He has also served as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Design-Build Institute of America, the American Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners, the Wisconsin Association of Mediators, and Future Milwaukee.  Geoff has also dedicated time and resources to numerous causes including Sojourner Family Peace Center, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, and Gathering Waters.  Geoff served on the UWM Alumni Association Board of Trustees 2004-2007 and is currently a member of the UWMAA Urban Planning Alumni Chapter.
