Jan Serr is a dedicated and accomplished, lifelong artist.  She creates paintings, works on paper, prints, and artist made books.  Her work is in major private, public and corporate collections in the United States and Canada.  Internationally, three times she has participated in the Art in the Embassy program, U.S. State Department.  Jan's first professional exhibition was with the Marlborough Godard Galerie, Montreal, Quebec.  She has gallery representation in Chicago, IL; Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; and Toronto, Ontario.

Her subjects include landscape, still life and figurative.  She generally works on a series of paintings and prints, which share a common subject or theme, but which are expressed in different media.  She is known for her rich use of color and strong composition.
