The Council for the Spanish Speaking, Inc. advocates on behalf of Latinos and the socially and economically challenged. It offers programs in education, housing and human services to improve quality of life for families, children, youth, and the aging; promotes cultural, racial and linguistic understanding; and community planning and development supportive of social and economic equity.

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin was incorporated in 1972 as a non-profit business organization. The HCCW creates, expands and diversifies small and Hispanic-owned businesses in Wisconsin with a strong focus in the Milwaukee Metro area. The HCCW provides educational and technical resources, fosters economic exchange between the business and corporate sectors, and promotes a network for political issues, community affairs and opportunities for the Hispanic population and community at large.

The Roberto Hernández Center is dedicated to serving Latino students at UWM as well as the Latino population of southeastern Wisconsin through a three-pronged mission: to provide academic services that promote Latino student success, to engage in outreach to the Latino community and beyond and to support applied research pertinent to Latinos.

Each Tuesday Milwaukee's business, professional and community leaders come together at the War Memorial Center for lunch to listen and learn about the key issues affecting our community--the largest weekly gathering in the metro Milwaukee area.  Members of The Rotary Club of Milwaukee are part of a worldwide network of over 1.2 million men and women who make a difference in the lives of people in their communities and around the world.  Rotarians work together to find solutions for issues of poverty, illiteracy, clean water, environmental improvement, hunger, disease and many more.

United Community Center

Centro de la Comunidad Unida/United Community Center (UCC) provides programs to Hispanics and near south side residents of all ages in the areas of education, cultural arts, recreation, community development and health and human services.  UCC helps people achieve their potential by focusing on cultural heritage as a means of strengthening personal development.  

United Migrant Opportunity Services (UMOS)

UMOS is a private, non-profit corporation established in 1965 to advocate for and provide services to Hispanic migrant and seasonal farm workers in Wisconsin. UMOS, a non-profit advocacy organization, provides programs and services which improve the employment, educational, health and housing opportunities of under-served populations.
