PAAWS: Professional Alumni After Work Social
Start your summer with a splash by joining fellow UWM alumni and friends at the June PAAWS event at the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences. Network with fellow Panthers, hear from UWM Freshwater Science faculty and scientists, and get a sneak peek behind the scenes of this unique water research facility.
The first 20 attendees to arrive will enjoy an adventure aboard UWM’s primary research vessel, the Neeskay, at 6:30 p.m. "Neeskay" is derived from the language of the Ho-Chunk, a Wisconsin Native American tribe, and translates as "pure, clean water." The Neeskay has operated as a research vessel since 1970 and has a fully functional platform and floating laboratory.
Your $10 registration includes great appetizers, a drink ticket, the chance to meet and network with fellow alumni, and the opportunity to learn about the exciting new developments at the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences. Sponsored by the UWM Alumni Association and the Career Development Center.
Space is limited, so register today to save your spot.
