Dear Friends in the Class of 1962,
This year marks the 50th anniversary of your graduation from the
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In celebration, we have begun
planning a memorable weekend. Please join us on May 19
and 20, when we will gather on the UW-Milwaukee campus for a weekend of
fun and reminiscing.
Register for the 50 year Reunion today. Even if you cannot attend, update us on your life's adventures; submit an autobiographical sketch including your employment, awards, achievements, family, leisure pursuits, or a favorite memory of UWM!
A variety of special events are planned to commemorate this golden anniversary of your days on campus.
Highlights of the weekend include:
- Join your Class of 1962, friends and guests at a special reception and induction ceremony.
- Reunion luncheon and a guided bus tour of campus.
- Receive special recognition at the UWM Alumni Association’s Awards Reception, an event honoring distinguished graduates of UWM and the University’s 2012 Honorary Degree recipients.
- With your classmates, lead the procession of 2012 graduates at UWM’s Spring Commencement ceremonies at the U.S. Cellular Arena (formerly MECCA) in downtown Milwaukee. This is a unique and thrilling experience that many consider to be the highlight of the Reunion Weekend.
