You need to have at least a minimum of a C grade on each of the four classes. Failure to attain at least a C in any one of the four classes will result in an automatic failure of Bridge. How do I know how well I'm doing in the program?
You should receive progress reports from your instructors weekly. For math class, since you're using ALEX, you should be able to see your progress report daily. Where do I find help with the Math class?
AOC has a tutor dedicated to help AOC Summer Bridge students in the West Wing of the Library. Why was I put on final academic probation?
Because you did not make the satisfactory progress that you could have during the Summer Bridge Program, the AOC instructors who taught in the program met and made the recommendation for you to be placed on academic probation. While on probation, you must attain a minimum of 2.0 GPA (C grade) during the fall semester. Otherwise, you will be officially dropped. Please see the "Academic Probation" section. No. The Summer Bridge Program can only be taken once. If you did not pass the program, you must attend a different college/university first before applying for UW-Milwaukee again. Can I still attend UW-Milwaukee in the future even though I did not pass the Summer Bridge Program?
Yes, with conditions. You must attend a different college/university full-time for at least one semester during regular university hours (unless otherwise noted) and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
