Dr. Ambrose's research interests are consumers and their use of technology. Her recent work has focused on approaches to studying consumer adoption of technologies, the use of consumer-driven technologies in customer research, internet technologies in advertising, and innovative use of online communities in health care. She teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, and Consumer and Buyer Behavior. She has a long track-record of winning Lubar Gold Star awards for teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Recent forays into online teaching have provided new and rewarding challenges.
A member of the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma. She consults for a variety of nonprofit and charitable organizations, particularly in the area of marketing communications.
