Dr. Berg specializes in the dynamics of industry globalization. His current research focuses on both the adaptation of firms for global competition and the ways in which national industry systems shape firms from different country backgrounds. He teaches in the areas of international business and management.

Dr. Berg is a member of the Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, and the Strategic Management Society. He is also a Certified Management Accountant. He recently co-authored a chapter in the NewOxford Handbook of International Business. Prior to earning his Ph.D. he worked in the areas of international finance and import/export.
