Dr. Fischer specializes in advanced financial accounting, managerial and cost accounting, and individual income tax issues.
Professional Activities
Dr. Fischer is a Certified Public Accounting and a Certified Management Accountant. He has held various leadership positions within the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Dr. Fischer has served as a consultant in income tax planning and compliance issues. He served previously on the faculty of UW-Whitewater, where he was recognized eight times with outstanding faculty awards. He is the author of numerous papers and articles on accountant and tax for the America Accounting Association, the American Taxation Association, and other newsletters, periodicals, and refereed journals.
