Areas of Expertise
During his career, Dr. Miller has delivered a wide range of managerial and financial accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Most recently he has taught managerial accounting, cost accounting, and intermediate accounting. Before joining UWM, he was on the faculty of Temple University, Rutgers University-Camden, and Drexel University.
Professional Activities
Prior to pursuing an academic career, Dr. Miller worked in public accounting. Over his teaching career he has received multiple teaching awards based on student feedback. He has been involved in many department- and school-wide committees and task forces. He has published in Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. Dr. Miller currently serves as the faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi, the national honor society for acounting and other financial professionals.
