Areas of Expertise
Dr. Ross' research interests focus on buyer-supplier relationships, supply chain design, information technology in the supply chain, and global logistics. His research appears in leading journals and has received national recognition at professional meetings. His cutting-edge online teaching in virtual classrooms has also been recognized with all-university teaching awards.


Professional Activities
Prior to joining the Lubar School of Business in 2010, Anthony D. Ross was Associate Professor of Logistics in the Supply Chain Management Department at the Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University (2000-2010).  While at Michigan State, Dr. Ross served as Logistics PhD program director, as well as program leader and co-leader for study abroad programs in Japan, South Africa and Botswana. His career began as Assistant Professor of Operations Management in the Lowry Mays College of Business at Texas A&M University (1995-2000).

He recently served as program chairperson for the 2009 Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Educators' Conference and 2009 Proceedings Editor for the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), among other roles.  From 2007-2010 he has served as a visiting scholar at the University of Capetown's Graduate School of Business.  Dr. Ross serves on the editorial boards of several leading journals and is Associate Editor for Operations Management Research.
