Areas of Expertise
Professor Sidgman’s areas of expertise are in information systems and financial accounting. He is conducting research on the impact of electronic financial disclosures on investors and insider trading behavior, executive stock and options ownership, and the advantages and disadvantages of interactive electronic financial data.
Professional Activities
Dr. Sidgman is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Information Systems and Control Association. He has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for the Journal of Information Systems and for several professional conferences.
