Professor of Accounting (Financial Accounting and/or Auditing)
The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is seeking an outstanding scholar for a full-time tenured Accounting Professor with expertise in Financial Accounting and/or Auditing to start in the fall of 2010. The qualified candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration or closely related field with an outstanding research record to include publications in leading accounting journals, and show evidence of teaching excellence. Preference will be given to candidates who are recognized nationally and internationally for leadership in accounting research, have a wealth of accounting experience and exhibit dedication to teaching excellence. In addition to the normal expectations of faculty (advise students, research, and serve on assigned faculty committees), this tenured professor will be expected to provide a leadership role in directing a new PhD degree in Accounting with an intended start in 2011.
