Associate/Full Professor in Management

The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a full-time, faculty position at Associate/Full rank beginning in August, 2010. The incumbent will contribute to the Lubar School's mission via an established program of scholarly research and ability to publish in top tier journals. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in Nonprofit Management and Organizational Behavior. These courses may be part of the M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, the graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management (both offered collaboratively with the College of Letters & Science), the MBA or BBA programs. Additional expectations of faculty are to advise students and serve on faculty committees. The incumbent may also choose to seek appointment as Director of the Helen Bader Institute for Nonprofit Management (HBI). The HBI is a multi-disciplinary, university-wide academic center whose mission is to enhance the management, leadership, and governance of nonprofit organizations through education, research, and capacity building programs. HBI serves as the institutional focal point for a formal partnership between the University and the community of nonprofit sector organizations in the Greater Milwaukee area.
Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in a management-related field, have a strong publication record and substantial teaching experience. Preference will be given to applicants who have publications in premier journals, an active research pipeline, quality presentations at top national and international conferences, and a record of exemplary teaching performance.
