Job DutiesThe Information Processing Consultant functions as an expert support in the application and implementation of the innovative capabilities of the SAP University Competency Center (UCC) in the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business and reports directly to the Director of the Center for Technology Innovation. This position is responsible for responding to the SAP-related instructional, software, and computing needs of the faculty, staff, and students serviced by the SAP UCC by implementing and supporting the required systems to meet those needs; assisting in developing strategies and policies for resource use; assisting in designing and implementing SAP coursework; and evaluating needs of the Center in light of current and emerging technologies. UWM houses one of only five SAP University Competency Centers in the world that supports the teaching, research, and service goals of the Lubar School of Business as well as over 90 colleges/universities across the United States and internationally.

QualificationsRequired qualifications are a Bachelor's degree, computer hardware and software knowledge, a service orientation, and experience in technology support. Preferred qualifications are excellent communication skills, ability and desire to work with a diverse population, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Specific technical skills desired are knowledge of Windows, Mac, and SAP knowledge. SAP certification would be a plus.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time fixed-term academic staff appointment.
