Open House

This year the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business is hosting its first annual Lubar Showcase for prospective students and their families to learn more about the undergraduate programs.  The event will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 9:15am-11:30am.

Check-in will take place in the Union Concourse from 8:30am-9:15am followed by a welcome from Dean V. Kanti Prasad. The opening session will conclude with a Business student panel who will share their experiences as UWM Business students and answer questions from the audience.

A series of breakout sessions from 10:00am-11:00am will highlight the six undergraduate business majors offered at UWM: Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and Supply Chain and Operations Management. The Lubar School's Career Services Advisor will also discuss part-time employment, internship opportunities, and job opportunities available upon graduation.

Other showcase highlights include tours of Lubar Hall, scholarship information and an overview of the Business Scholars program.

In addition, students and their guests are encouraged to attend the UWM Open House. Details are available at openhouse.uwm.edu.
