UWM Lubar School of Business Hosts Open House February 23 MILWAUKEE – The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is hosting an open house for prospective students and their guests on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Lubar Hall, 3202 N. Maryland Avenue.
Sessions on today’s global business environment, the Lubar School’s six undergraduate majors, Business Scholars Program, and study abroad opportunities for business students will be presented by Lubar School Dean V. Kanti Prasad and faculty. A “Peer Panel” of Lubar School students will also share their experiences as UWM business students and answer questions.
The School’s Career Services office will discuss career options, as well as part-time employment and internship opportunities for students.
In addition, UWM’s offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and Residence Life will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Guided campus tours also will be available.
Other open house highlights include academic advising sessions, tours of the business building, and meetings with representatives of student professional business organizations.
