UWM EMBA Alumni to Get an Inside View of the Business of Baseball
Alumni and current students of UWM’s Executive MBA program will enjoy an “up close and personal” look at Miller Park and an inside view of the business side of major league baseball at an Executives-After-Five event on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, hosted by the UWM Executive MBA Alumni Association.
The event will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the renowned ballpark, with a tour of Bob Uecker's Press Box, the players' clubhouse, and the team dugout with a special appearance by the famous “racing sausages.” Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President of Business Operations, will make a special presentation on the "Business of Baseball...A Whole New Ballgame," discussing what it takes to run a major league baseball team and a state-of-the art ballpark.
The Brewers away game against the Chicago Cubs that evening will be broadcast live in and around the Gehl Club for all attendees to watch the game in style. The event takes place from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
