“JavaFX, Zembly, Ruby, and SOA” to be Topic at UWM Workshop
"JavaFX, Zembly, Ruby, and SOA” is the topic of a full-day workshop at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business Center for Technology Innovation on Friday, June 26, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in Room N146, Lubar Hall, 3202 N. Maryland Ave., Milwaukee.
This workshop includes an introduction to JavaFX technology for those who want to build rich Internet applications over a Java platform. It will also explore various Ruby language features such as blocks and closures, and meta-programming, as well as how to build and publish social applications over popular social networking platforms such as Facebook using a technology called Zembly. Finally, the agenda includes building, deploying, and testing SOA applications leveraging various SOA technologies such as JBI, OpenESB, and GlassFish.
Sang Shin of Sun Microsystems will present the workshop. He frequently gives talks on Java technologies including Java EE (formerly J2EE), Java SE, web application frameworks, and web services and SOA technologies.
