Lubar School Offers New Program to Develop Physician Leaders
The Portable MBA for Physicians will launch in January at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Lubar School of Business. The intensive six day program will develop management and leadership skills in medical professionals, with healthcare focused topics including financial management, people management, team building, and business development and strategy.
“In today’s healthcare environment, physicians increasingly need to rely on their management skills,” said Mark Mone, Associate Dean of Executive Programs at the Lubar School. “This program is designed to enhance physicians’ business acumen by providing a strategic focus on critical managerial issues within the medical profession.”
The Lubar School has almost a decade of experience delivering physician leadership development programs with the Medical College of Wisconsin, a long history of high quality executive education, and is home to Wisconsin’s premier Executive MBA program.
The Portable MBA for Physicians is aimed at physicians, practice partners, and managing directors of medical practices.
It is offered in cooperation with the Medical Society of Milwaukee County.
