CTI Workshop Topic: “HTML5 Programming”

“HTML5 Programming” will be the focus of a full-day workshop at the Lubar School of Business on Friday, April 26, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., in Room N146, Lubar Hall, 3202 N. Maryland Ave., Milwaukee.  The program is part of a series of workshops hosted by the Center for Technology Innovation.

The web has been evolving for a long time, but many recent developments in its evolution have triggered a rethinking by Java developers about building applications. This workshop will cover HTML5 technologies that are relevant to Java developers and how these technologies can help build better, faster, and leaner applications.

Sang Shin, founder and chief instructor at, will lead the workshop. is a popular learning site for Java/JavaScript/jQuery/HTML5/Ruby/Rails/Groovy/Grails/MySQL/Android developers. Before founding, Shin was the lead technology architect at Sun Microsystems.
