Share |

The graduate certificate program in enterprise resource planning (ERP) at the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business is now available fully online to provide students with SAP-focused expertise in ERP, which facilitates competitive advantage for companies worldwide.

“The certificate program delivers strong SAP expertise through a hands-on approach that leverages the Lubar School’s strong partnerships with both SAP and IBM,” says IBM Professor of Information Technology Management Dave Haseman.

ERP is a powerful business tool that allows companies to integrate real-time information across business units to streamline processes, avoid redundancies, analyze key metrics, and drive improvements, among other advantages. The Lubar School’s curriculum utilizes SAP – the world’s leading enterprise software firm.

The online program features a 5-course sequence providing access to the School’s SAP HANA appliance, experience with SAP in the cloud via state-of-the-art IBM hardware, and faculty with extensive SAP teaching experience at one of only five SAP University Competence Centers in the world.  Lubar faculty have also authored the leading SAP Press book on SAP mobile application development.  TERP10 certification preparation is included in the curriculum.

“Ultimately, ERP allows companies to make better decisions faster via a strategic and comprehensive information system,” says Haseman.

The certificate is offered exclusively online beginning in September 2013.  It may be completed alone in under 12 months, or in combination with the Lubar School’s MS program in information technology management.
