Workshop to Delve into SAP HANA, Big Data, and Analytics
“SAP HANA, Big Data, and Analytics” will be the topic of a full-day workshop at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business on Friday, September 20. The event, sponsored by the Center for Technology Innovation, takes place from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., in Lubar Hall N146, located at 3202 North Maryland Avenue in Milwaukee.
Participants will learn how big data, in-memory computing, and SAP HANA come together to influence business strategies, from trend reporting to predictive analysis. Documented studies have shown SAP HANA can deliver over 20,000-times speed improvement in processing complex calculations.
Presented by Bjarne Berg, co-author of the SAP Press best-selling book on HANA, this workshop will deliver the big picture for getting started with SAP HANA, from building a business strategy to administering a system. Dr. Berg is an internationally recognized expert in business intelligence. He is Vice President of Information Technology at Comerit Inc., and a professor at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. He has managed major projects and upgrades for many Fortune 500 companies in Europe and the U.S. for over 18 years.
