Lubar School Hosts 2012 Outlook Conference
"Defining Markets:2012 Outlook" is the focus of a conference being held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Friday, March 16, in the UWM Union, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd. The conference, hosted by the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business and organized by the Investment Management Certificate Program (IMCP) is targeted at investment officers, corporate managers, government professionals and academicians.
The conference features topics that are most likely to influence investment and corporate decisions over the next year, according to G. Kevin Spellman, conference director and head of the IMCP.
The conference includes two major sessions. "Economics and Strategy" will feature top strategists from Citigroup,Robert W. Baird, The Leuthold Group, and Miller Tabak. The luncheon session on "Monetary Policy" will feature Daniel Sullivan, Executive Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and other executives.
Breakout sessions will examine "Private Equity as an Asset Class" and "Sector Outlooks."
The Association for Corporate Growth, CFA Society of Milwaukee, EVA Dimensions, FactSet, and Ned Davis Research are corporate co-sponsors for the event.
