Undergraduate General Business Minor The General Business minor consisting of 27 credits in business and economics is available to provide a business education dimension for non-business students at UWM.
The General Business minor is designed for students whose preparation in their major field would be enhanced by a better understanding of the various business functions and the management process.

Other RequirementsAt least 12 credits for the General Business Minor must be completed at UWM. In order to have the General Business Minor posted on your transcript; you must also complete all 27 credits with an overall grade point average of at least 2.25.
Post Baccalaureate General Business Minor:Students will be allowed to take no more than 6 credits to complete the Post Baccalaureate General Business Minor. A Minimum of 3 post baccalaureate credits must be taken at UWM. In order to have the Post Baccalaureate General Business Minor posted on your transcript, the following gpa requirements must be met:
- minimum overall gpa of 2.25 on all General Business Minor courses,
- a minimum UWM post baccalaureate gpa of 2.00
NOTE: If you are completing this minor as part of degree requirements in another school/college, your course grade minimums may vary from those required by the School of Business. Please check with your assigned academic advisor regarding grade requirements.
