W.J.T. Mitchell lectured in Curtin Hall 118 on October 25, 1991. Professor Mitchell has been recognized for his work on the relations of visual and verbal representations in the context of social and political issues and has been known for his scholarship in the emergent fields of visual culture and iconology.
