David Marriott
Lecture, "Black War Machines:
From Racial Prosthetics to Black Hypochondria"

David Marriott gave his lecture in Curtin Hall 118 on Friday, September 7, 1997. At the time of his lecture, Professor Marriott taught critical theory and black cultural studies at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. Today he is a professor of literature at the University of California-Santa Cruz. Professor Marriott has authored On Black Men (Edinburgh University Press, 2000; Columbia University Press, 2000) and Haunted Life (Rutgers University Press).
