A discussion1:00 pm Curtin 118
The Center for 21st Century Studies leads the way in imagining, defining, and creating the burgeoning field of 21st century studies, focusing on the intersection of the humanities, arts, and sciences (social and natural) with issues of compelling concern. We organize our research and public programs around themes that change periodically, and through our open fora we gather suggestions and proposals from across the university. While we cannot implement every idea offered, most of our programming traditionally does emerge from faculty and graduate student input.
For this open forum, we are looking for your suggestions and comments on the following topics:
C21 2011-12 Research Theme: What is 21st Century Studies?
Conference and Research Workshop Proposals
Speaker Recommendations, 2011-12
Upcoming National Conference Collaborations:
Organization of American Historians (OAH) and Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts (SLSA)
We look forward to your participation!
